Meet Nancy Logan, the passionate founder of barn star swag, and a entrepreneur with a heart for animal rescue. Over 20 years ago, Nancy, a lifelong animal lover and horse rider, witnessed the growing need for support in her community for horse and dog rescue efforts. Determined to make a difference, she combined her entrepreneurial spirit with her love for animals to create a unique e-commerce venture.
Starting small in her rural Minnesota barn, Nancy began selling handmade pet accessories and equestrian-themed merchandise. Her initial goal was simple: Support local animal rescue organizations. As word spread about her mission, and the quality of her products, the business grew rapidly.
Today, Barn Star Swag offers a wide range of products, from Pet themed items to whimsical apparel like the "Mule Diva" shirt. Nancy's store has become a cornerstone in the animal rescue community, directly supporting the care of horses and dogs.
Beyond running her successful online store, Nancy actively volunteers at local support organizations and rescued animals in need. Her dedication has inspired a community of customers who share her passion for animal welfare, turning shopping into a meaningful act of support for rescue efforts.
It all Started Here
I feel everyone’s got a little Barn Star Swag in them that love critters. I basically started my love of animals at birth because of my dads passion getting my first pony at 2 she started her “barn star swag” early with a little girl cowgirl attitude. My dad being gone for 35 years has inspired my trademark saying on my clothing “you never ride alone”. Another design is inspired by my dad was something he would always say about riding horses the next day…”the good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise”. My passion continues as I am in my senior years now through my clothing designs!
